Read about our changes
Reimagine Youth is a student-driven global health charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
We were born from Students for Kids International Projects (SKIP), which for more than 20 years enabled students to work with communities around the world to improve child health and welfare. When SKIP paused in 2022, we took the opportunity to reflect and evolve — creating Reimagine Youth, a charity reimagined for the challenges of the 2020s.
Our first priority is mental health. Young people everywhere face increasing pressures on their emotional wellbeing, yet too often they lack the support they need. That is why we are developing interventions that are education-driven, evidence-based, and — most importantly — built within and delivered by the very communities they are designed to serve. By training and supporting local partners, we make sure our projects are not only effective, but sustainable, adaptable, and empowering.
At the same time, Reimagine Youth is designed to grow. While our starting point is mental health, our model will allow us to expand into other areas of child and youth health, always guided by community need and grounded in collaboration.
In this way, we honour SKIP’s legacy while looking firmly ahead: combining student energy, professional expertise, and community partnership to reimagine global health for a new generation.
